Enabling access - DFI session 6

In class, our class site is used throughout the day for children to access and support their learning.

It creates a platform for:
  • Rewindable learning
  • Access to multimodal learning
  • Ubiquitous access (this was especially helpful during lockdown)
  • Connected and enables data to be transparent (student agency)

I don't think there is an end to the creation of the class site. It's forever growing and changing. I enjoying tutuing around, but can be caught on it for hours on end.

I'm notorious for forgetting to link a page/site to a button or image for the children to access their learning. The kids love it when this happens and have become very understanding.

Click on the link above to have a browse around. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Kia ora Neelam,
I really like the idea of your Ask a question and your answers and how to slides. You wrote about your site being about rewindable learning, one thing I would like to provoke you on is where is the rewindable learning for the students for literacy, maths or other subjects? If your students where at home during the week but able to work could they complete some of the days activities even through they are not at school?
    Nga mihi,

  2. Hi Neelam, I like the 'what's new' section of your site. this is especially useful when, like you said, your site is being updated constantly. Something that I always think is very empowering is when the buttons are images of students. Not a must but might be worth thinking about.
